Share Church lets you send any parish’s complete information in a single tap, either to a contact through WhatsApp or any other messaging app, or straight to your social media. Whoever receives the link goes directly to that church’s detail screen inside the app, where the Mass Times, Confessions and Adoration schedules are already up to date.
If the person you’re sharing with doesn’t have the app installed yet, they can download it right from the link and go straight to that parish’s information from there.
2. Where is the Share icon in the app?
The Share icon sits in the upper right corner of the church’s detail screen, above the map and just over the parish name. To get there, tap any church pin on the Nearby map to open its detail screen.
3. How do I share a church from the app?
Sharing a parish’s information takes only a few seconds:
- Tap the church you want to share, either on the Nearby map or in your Favorites.
- On its detail screen, look for the Share icon above the map.
- Tap it. Your phone’s share sheet opens with whatever apps you have installed: WhatsApp, email, social media and the rest.
- Choose the app you want to use, then pick the contact or group you’re sending it to.
The link goes straight to that church’s detail screen inside the app, with all of its information and current times.
4. Why is sharing a church so useful?
Sharing a church is a simple way to help other Catholics find Mass times today, tomorrow or on Sunday without anyone having to copy out addresses, phone numbers or schedules that may change over time. Because the link points to the live listing, whoever receives it always sees that parish’s most current information, and nothing depends on you transcribing it correctly.
