“Local creation in more than 200 countries”

On a recent visit to his hometown (Villa María, Córdoba, Argentina), our founder visited his mother and met with members of the app team based there. The local newspaper took the opportunity to interview him and highlight the global impact of our project.

Pablo Licheri, founder of the Catholic Mass Times app, was interviewed by El Diario during his last trip to Villa María, the city where the Catholic Mass Times team is based. To read the full interview, click here!

As the note says, Pablo’s idea started with the idea of making a web page“that would offer the Holy Mass 24 hours a day, transmitting from different churches.” But a friend told him that was something very complicated, “because he had to have cameras in churches in many parts of the world with different time zones, and [le] urged him to do something simpler and make an app with Mass times.”

And so did Pablo. It began with the churches of Buenos Aires, between 250 and 300. El Diario adds, “Today, “Catholic Mass Times” has 1,600,000 users, in 202 countries around the world. It is present, obviously, throughout the country, and various regions and locations in all those nations on the planet.”

Our hometown's newspaper highlights us on its front page Pablo Licheri and part of the team of Catholic Mass Times meet in his hometown, Villa María, and appear on the front page of the newspaper.

In the interview, Pablo said that “the application is very successful because it is organic and feeds on the information that the users themselves upload, which forms a wonderful virtuous circle”.

As the note says, the app is totally free, without advertising, and Pablo, along with his wife, covers the cost to make it work. Although there is also the possibility of donating to give them a hand, this is optional because it is not their goal; they do it simply as an apostolate, to help.
